I know that tons of cruise companies are hitting up on this market and its been around for many years, but has anyone here been on any? I have always loved the idea of just hitting up a ferry since I kind of have a fear of being “too far” out to sea, so a cruise would not work for me, a ferry on the other hand might.

I do not know of any Casinos that are housed on a ferry, but I am sure there are some where.  The state I live in does not allow the casino boats to leave the dock even, so there is not much of a chance for something like this around here.

The only “boat” that I have been gambling on is the one that use to be docked in Windsor. They had tons of games and it was so much fun but it was only a temporary thing. Now they have a huge casino in front of where the boat use to be. I’ve never been on a boat that was moving only the one that was docked.

I have heard there were some in Kansas City but I am not sure if those were shut down or not, the same as the ones in LA (Louisiana not Los Angeles). I have thought it might be nice to go try it out but I do not want to end up in jail for a raid either if some random state wants to argue if the water is too deep or not.

I have been on riverboat cruises before on the Mississippi River down to New Orleans but I don’t believe that they would qualify as ferries.  I’ve actually never heard of ferry casinos but would be willing to check them out if you have any more details to share - like where they are from or companies that are involved with it, that sort of thing.

I’ve never been on a riverboat or ferry gambling before. I think that that would be something that would be fun to do. How do you get on these riverboat/ferry trips?

RUkiddingme I think that is where most people are getting the ideas that they are ferries, thats what many in the SE states are calling them. I am not from here originally so I wondered if I was using the right term or not.
