We’ve all professed our enjoyment of gambling but what about the lottery? That’s gambling too! What kind of money have you won?
The largest amount I’ve won is only $50. It’s not impressive but it’s something! I had a distant family member on my dad’s side that won the NY state lottery many, many years ago. I don’t know how much he won but I know it was several million. Too bad we weren’t close!
I buy a few lottery tickets every year, usually when there is a really big jackpot. I know the odds of winning are really low, but the idea of winning $10-100+ Million on a small $1-10 bet is really appealing.
I’ve played a few tickets in the past but never as a regular thing. I’ve twice won just $10, and nothing more. I don’t do scratch cards, though I have friends who very much enjoy those.

Well, be happy! You did better than I’ve ever done, lol.
I don’t play the numbers as much as the scratch tickets, and even those are rare for me. The most I’ve won was back in college and that was $200 on a $1 scratch ticket. More booze money. LOL Over Christmas I won $50 on a ticket my inlaws put in my stocking. We all went out to dinner on the winnings.
We have a daily numbers game here that I play frequently - usually several times a week. I tend to hit on this one every couple months, usually for anywhere from $50 to $300. I also play the powerball at least once a week and occasionally a couple of others. I know the chances are like being struck by lightning but hey, someone’s got to win so it might as well be me.
Well its a great tool. Its much safer than card game type gambling where you may loose big time. Moreover if you lucky angel is accompanying you, who knows it may make you winner of a million dollar lottery.
I very occasionally play the lottery but not that often because the chances of winning are so small - also the jackpots have dropped so much over recent years.
Im not a heavy player. Now and then I’ll get a scratch card or buy a Powerball ticket, but I never won anything. If I do, though, I’ll buy a few more, ha-ha. I could win the lottery again!
I used to play regularly but quit. I won probably around R500 in total, after playing for a few years. Id rather spend my money at a casino and have a drink there.
