Anyone else have regular poker nights at home and not at the casinos?  I moved a few years ago so no longer do this but for years before that, a group of us would get together almost every weekend (either Friday or Saturday night) and have a poker game.  We played either dealer’s choice or a game we called Guts (basically 5-card draw with Jacks or better to win - progressive pot).  Our pots usually stayed pretty low although were in the hundreds a few times.  I think that is the thing I miss most from where I used to live.

Not nearly as many as I would like but yes they still come around when they can. On summer nights and when its not too windy we will play outside and get a nice BBQ going as well.

I don’t have one myself, but my friends have a get-together every tuesday night. I can’t go most of the time, but I have gone now and then. I think it’s pretty fun.

I wish I knew enough people to make this happen. My partner and I will go to the casino for some fun game play and a few drinks on a weekend, but we don’t know anyone who will come over and play a private poker night.

My buddies and I get together every other Friday at someone’s house for a night of Texas Hold’em or Poker, or Blackjack, or something to pal around with. One time, we played Go-Fish, but we’ll just ignore that night.

We don’t have regular poker nights but we do invite people over to play when the Super Bowl, New Years, and the Fourth of July roll around. There are nights in the summer time that we will invite our friends over to play poker too. It’s all in fun and there is no money involved.

We all take turns at each others houses. One weekend it will be my turn to host and then the next weekend it’s a different person’s turn to host. It’s a lot of fun and we don’t bet for a lot of money. I think the highest we went was $100.
