Moneybookers hasn’t really taken off like Paypal or even Alertpay but it’s very similar and has pretty decent transaction fees.  Do any of the online gaming establishments that you know of use moneybookers or offer it as an alternative to fund accounts or receive winnings?

I don’t really know. I use PayPal, and I always have, but I never heard of Moneybookers. Im sure if you look into it or contact the online Casino about payment, I’m sure they can tell you whether it’s supported or not.

Moneybookers is pretty popular with online casinos and cardrooms. Unfortunately, paypal isn’t an option right now for US players due to the UIGEA.

I’m pretty sure I already have a Moneybookers account, if they didn’t shut me off for lack of use.  I had one a few years ago when it first came out but so few people accepted it that I didn’t get much chance to use it.  I’ll have to check so I can maybe sign up for a couple casinos later - I’ve seen some pretty cool bonuses advertised on the banners here.  Rushmore is the one I see right now with a 200% bonus up to $1000 - sounds great!

Yes Moneybookers still works only for European, Canadian and non-USA casino players. The said e-wallet solution stopped to work with US casino players and it is not available for U.S. citizens any more. Some online gaming establishments that offer Moneybookers as a payment deposit method are Golden Casino, English Harbour Casino, Super Slots Casino and Golden Palace Casino.

Well, I guess that eliminates Moneybookers as a possibility for online gambling then since I am a US-based player.  This is the main reason why I haven’t explored online casinos more as it’s so hard to figure out a way to make a deposit.  I really don’t want to use a credit card directly.

hi everyone,

Moneybookers is also regulated by the British Financial Services Authority, ans is used broadly by many industries other than gambling. Moneybookers is a real-time web based trading mechanism that allows consumers to securely send and receive payments online through the simple use of an e-mail address.
