Do you have a system?

I’m always seeing advertisements or articles from people who claim to have some sort of system worked out in order to win more than they lose at a given game.  I’ve seen lottery systems, blackjack systems and even craps systems touted.  Do you have a system that you follow, whether you follow someone elses or created it yourself?

Not really - I fly by the seat of my pants and hope everything works. I sort of make it up as I go along. Although, I think the golden rule is ‘Know your Limits’. Lke, don’t bet more than you have and all that.

I don’t think I have a system. Maybe I have one and I’m not even sure about it? lol I think I typically just do whatever and see where the chips fall, so to speak. Does that make me an idiot? Probably. smile

I do, sometimes I use it especially if the opponent happens to be a professional. I might even learn from my opponent, so if I learned something new from him/her, I might modify my system. I’d be careful not to complicate things at the table full.

I unfortunately do not.  I play to win and that is it.  I think that a lot of the game is dictated by the ability to read the other players at the table, so I spend a lot of my time studying people and their reactions.

Kind of. I start with an allocated amount of money that I can play with and when that money is gone, then I leave. Other than that I just fly by the seat of my pants and hope for the best.

That is about me in a nutshell. I have tried other things before but none are really suited for me and I think its because I am too finicky if that makes sense. If I can wing it and play it by ear I realize I end up being less frustrated and enjoy the time more gaming.

I’m like you, blackjack.  Much of the time you can observe the other players and see their patterns.  If you are observant and pay attention, you can tell what most people are going to do next or have in their hands after playing with them for a bit.

I have learned some techniques for Blackjack and Poker and they are pretty effective. But like others I would not disclose them. You need to formulate your own success.

You should follow system in BJ and Roulette but in poker you can’t have much of a system. Again system in BJ can be pretty complex whereas if you can formulate a good system for roulette, you could win much money.
