I came across a website that offers strategies for several casino games such as blackjack, roulette and craps.  They are running a special where you get 14 different guide books for $39.  There is “Winning Blackjack”, “The ‘Insiders’ Craps System”, “Beat the Video Poker Machines” and a bunch more.  How would you go about researching these to see if they are actually any good?  Or is there such a thing as a strategy that gives you an edge?

I’m not sure you can have a strategy when playing black jack. I am a true believer in hands on training and hands on gambling. I think that the more you practice the better you will be.

I think looking at the strategies would be good for tips, but I think gambling is all totally about luck. You can play the same tactic over and over, but eventually, luck will run out or someone will catch on. :O

If someone had tips that would really work he would never sell it to somebody. Why doesn’t the guy go in to some casino and win money for himself? Simple thinking is what you need!

I completely agree. No one can teach you a 100% successful strategy as there is nothing such as 100% successful strategy.

Some of the strategies could definitely help you to raise your winning rate in BJ and Roulette but that about it, it can’t help in other games like craps or paigow!
