I have a Facebook account that I use only a few times a week. I happened to search for gambling on there the other day and looked up gambling and was surprised to find a few groups on there that are dedicated to gambling. Do you belong to any of them? Do they really have a purpose?

I’ve never noticed this before and I’m on Facebook all the time! I’ll have to do a search and see what I can find. Maybe I’ll meet some like-minded people smile

Well I too have an account with facebook but have never played any game there. I usually don’t like gambling online. Its a lacklustre environment for gambling wink

I’m not a part of any of those groups, but do find it surprising that facebook would even allow for such groups.

I can’t be the only one who thinks facebook could face major legal problems with allowing gambling communities inside of their website.

To be honest, I cannot stand Myspace or any knock-offs like Facebook. Would I belong to a group if I was on a site like that? I might, but probably not.

I agree with you 100% - a lot of them that become popular become overrated with getting that “status.” I do hang around some smaller social networks with my local friends though. smile

I have never ever logged into any social networking sites like facebook or orkut or similar. I hate the spamming that happen there in. I can chat and exchange my ideas, files, music on AOL messenger so why do you need facebook?
