It has been quite a while since I have been to the casino in Alton, Illinois.  The last time I was there it was called the Alton Bell, but now I think the name is Argosy’s Alton Bell Casino, or just the Alton Argosy.  Either way I have not tried the table games here I think they have black jack, roulette and most of the regular table games here I am just a slot machine type of person.  They have 3 floors of gambling goodness here.

Of course in Illinois you now have to smoke outside, but don’t worry they have many very accommodating stations right outside the doors for all the smokers.  I have had good luck here a few times on the slots so you should definitely check out the Argosy Casino when ever you are down by the river in Alton Illinois.

Sounds interesting, I bet a lot of people are not happy about having to smoke outside.  I know that I would not like that, I am pretty used to being able to smoke while I gamble, I think that would really be an inconvenience to all the players there.

I thought that there were quit a few casinos there in the St. Louis area.  Have you guys been to any on the other side of the river or just the one there in Alton?  I think that there is a Harrah’s there somewhere.

They are trying to make all workplaces smoke free here in Michigan. Which means that if and when they get it passed you will not be able to smoke in casino’s or bars. I don’t mind because I am not a smoker and actually I think I would go more often if the casino was smoke free.
