I was at the casino last weekend and a trio of cheats were caught and dragged out in handcuffs from the blackjack tables. It was kind of exciting. A woman and a man were hanging around behind other players and then making signals to their friend who was also playing about when he should hit or stand. They got caught, of course, but it was fun to watch the security guards coming closer and closer without them noticing it.

Led out in handcuffs, huh?  So then cheating at the casino is an actual crime where you can be arrested?  I never knew that.  I always just figured it would get you tossed out of the casino and banned for life.  I hate cheaters on any level.

That would have been exciting to see. I wish they would crack down on them at the casino I go to. People just think they can do what they want and think they can get away with it. I’m glad that they were busted.

Handcuffs? What were they arrested for? I assumed people just get thrown out for cheating. I guess it could be construed as theft if the casino bosses want to go that way.

It’s crazy what people think they can get away with. Just because they seem to think they’re better and smarter than everyone else. It serves any ‘cheats’ right that they get caught and sent to wherever they send cheaters. Leave the games to the people who are moral.

I think most places have tight nit security so its never really been an issue when I have been out playing. I would love to see someone carted off though as I have never liked cheaters in any sense gambling or other things in life. Its sad to think people can live their entire lives full of lies, its gotta get confusing at some point.

There was something in a casino up here. There was some sort of system he worked out with a few buddies with coughing. They were just caught and thrown out but not arrested. I never knew you could be though - yikes!

Ha-ha, sneaky, but totally not sneaky enough! I wish I could have seen the looks on their faces when they were tapped on the shoulders by the guards… smile

Casino is a private property and if you are entering it, you are bound to follow some inhouse laws. Hence if you are careless about it, there is every chance that they would catch you and through you out.

Only once it happened in a game at home with friends. The friend who had become the dealer was trying to show magic of his fingers and I suddenly noticed it and caught him. smile)

Generally this kind of things often happen just to make the feel of presence of security. When people see this kind of thing happen, they become more conscious and behave accordingly.
