The hotel portion of this casino will be opening this year (2009). They casino has some pretty cool slots including the popular $1 Wheel of Fortune progressive slot. This casino has a game called Omaha Hold’em. I’ve never heard of it before but it looks like it would be fun to play. Has anyone ever played this game before?

Greektown Casino does not presently have its own hotel. One is currently under construction.
The closest would be the Atheneum, about a block away. Mariott at the Renaissance Center is also a possibility, as it and the casino both have a “People Mover” station (an above-ground rail system), so for, I believe, 50 cents, you can hop on at one station and take about a 2 minute ride to the other (walking it is about 5 blocks).
