I used to play a lot of video games (I don’t have the time anymore) and my favorite was always the fighting games like Street Fighter and KoF. Anyway, I’m a huge die hard fan so I was pretty excited to see a commercial for the movie coming out in live action. I think it follows Chun-Li so that’ll be interesting. She’s a pretty big character along with Ryu and Ken. Now, if only they’d make a KoF movie with Kyo and Iori in it… That’d be pretty awesome. Or Terry, of course.

Wait, what?! A street fighter movie?! That’s totally sweet! I hope it has Sakura in it… she’s so peppy; I love her to death! Dang, I can’t believe I missed something like this! I’m going to go look up some more information on it right away!

Actually, I think it’s already out. I guess that means I have to go see it then. I hope it’s worth seeing though because everyone knows that adaptions are never as good as the original. Still, a little Chun-Li fighting action is always worth a look-see.

OH MY LORD, It’s out already?! I must see it! Even if it sucks, the fan inside of me is SCREAMING that I must watch it or I will not be complete! And yeah, it follows Chun-Li. She’s the BOMB. I’m still a big Sakura fan but that’s okay.

I don’t know - they made a street fighter movie before, along with Mortal Kombat, and they both really stunk. I guess I’m still a little skeptical about going to see this movie…

I’m not into the whole street fighter scene. If something like this came out, I’d probably go to see it, but I don’t think I’d like it all too much. Who knows?

I dunno, I’m looking hopeful. I mean, nothing can be as bad as the DBZ movie coming out, right? And maybe they learned from the last street fighter movie! In any case, I’ll go see it just to see if it’s good, you know?
So, Chun-Li is the main character? Cool beans - I always used her.

Oh, I heard about the DB movie coming out. What kind of Bulma doesn’t have blue hair!? And what’s with master roshi!? I know they were trying to modernize it… but still… eh, you can’t mess with something that has such a big, die hard fanbase!

“Balrog and Chun Li’s Battle”
“Vega Psycho Power”
“Colossus,” which bowed exclusively on the PlayStation 2 in 2005, revolves around a man named Wander who must travel across a cursed wasteland and defeat 16 creatures, known as the colossi, in order to restore the life of a girl.
“Colossus” is the latest high-profile project for Marks, who is writing the redo of “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo” at Disney, with McG attached to direct. He recently landed “Suicide Squad,” based on the DC Comics book, at Warner Bros., for which he’s also written “Green Arrow: Escape From Supermax,” also based on the DC character, and “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.” He’s also adapted “Hack/Slash” for Relativity, based on the Devil’s Due comicbook, and the ’80s TV toon “Voltron: Defender of the Universe,” for Mark Gordon Prods

This movie was in essence an hour and a half trailer for the producers to say we are going to make a Street Fighter movie, but this one isn’t it. It however was nice to see Robin Shou teach Chun Li some of his old Mortal Kombat moves (i.e. bicycle kick). And what was with the so called energy ball that they spend the entire movie having Chun Li learn to do for her to only do it once and all it did was push Bison off the cliff. It didn’t hurt him or anything even though earlier Robin Shou blew up a wall. Chun Li could have just kicked Bison she didn’t need to take the 30 seconds developing a ball of wind.

Anyone who actually bothers to buy a ticket to Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li will no doubt do so with reasonably low expectations. You can only ask so much from this kind of movie and all it really needs to do in order to be successful is outlined in the title.

OK, I can see purchasing it then. The movie will cost $1.08 to rent it on DVD if you use the redbox service (normally seen outside of McDonalds and Walmart). So yeah, I would purchase it on Blu-ray then.
The sad thing is Dragonball is so bad that it makes this movie Oscar worthy.
