Well, you definitely hit on a couple of my big annoyances in your list, the biggest is people drinking, well, more like getting drunk at the casino.  While I’m not opposed to having a few drinks, someone who is drunk and affecting table play irritates me to no end.

I think one thing that might be added is not to play angry.  I have seen so many times, when people are losing, the frustration kicks in and they start using foul language, yelling at the dealer and sometimes other players.  At this point, things usually only get worse.  If things are going badly, and you aren’t having fun, walk away for a bit.  Go and get something to eat or go home for the night.  The casinos will still be there next weekend.

Very true Christie. If I’m sitting at a table with someone who is cursing, fist slamming, etc. I find it really distracting, and while I try not to let it throw off my game, it just totally kills the vibe at the table and makes me want to go somewhere else.

Luckily pit bosses and dealers are usually pretty good about calming these people down or removing them quickly.

that’s very helpful, a conservative way of having like newbies think twice and held on secure betting and waiting the right timing at it… but at what really extent do you think should we prioritized then?..

Those are great advices. You know what I like most on all of them is not to drink too much. Ha ha. It is a bad idea indeed specially since you maybe spending your money lavishly without even noticing. Also, we always tend to forget number 10, don’t you think so?

Wow, am I late to the party!  Just stumbled upon the subject article and would like to contribute one of my own relevant to Item 5.

I should mention that the site was called Rolling Good Times when that article was published and so it is written assuming a craps environment.  Nevertheless, I presume the tipping techniques are applicable to any table game, certainly all the ones I have played.

Just thought of another one, with my own Top Ten specific to craps.

Oh, how I agree with the tip about drinking too much.  I’ve never met a rude drinker in any casino.  However, casinos are places where people sit close to each other.  Heavy drinkers smell awful.  I’ve had to leave machines I was enjoying because of some walking moonshine still hunkering down next to me.  Lol!

Also, cigarette smoke that sort of wafts in my direction.  Blow it above the head and put the cigarette down between puffs.  Better still, get a nice cigar.
