Have any of you ever been to Foxwoods?  This is my favorite casino mainly because it’s the easiest one for me to access as it’s only about a two-three hour drive.  It’s always been a lovely place to visit but now with the MGM Grand being involved, it is absolutely gorgeous and rivals many of the Las Vegas casinos.  I’ve gone for day trips but I prefer to go for the weekend as the hotel is very nice too.

Foxwoods is one of my favorites since I only have to drive for a couple hours to get there.  They really know how to give great service and make the whole visit quite an experience.  They also have some great entertainment, especially since MGM partnered with them.

I’ve never been to Foxwoods but have looked into it on a travel site recently. Vegas is too far for me to travel to, but Connecticut isn’t. It’s good to hear positive things about it. It’s on my current list of possibilities so maybe I should move it toward the top of the list.

This sounds like a pretty nice place to visit. What is the lodging like around there? I’m trying to help plan a trip for my friends and I and this isn’t too far of a drive for us. It would be more like a weekend thing for us.

I’m sure there are other hotels in the area but we always just stay onsite.  The accommodations are very nice and we always seem to get some sort of deal on it so it makes it reasonable.  Since we generally only go for one or two nights, we prefer not to have to take the time to go back and forth staying somewhere else.
